When a Seller Reply Omits the Yupoo Item Code

Clarify which product a short seller response describes when several Yupoo items are in the conversation and no code appears in the reply.

A short answer may have no reliable subject

“Yes, available” or “same one” can be hard to use after a chat covers several albums. The message may answer the last question, a previous photo or a whole group. Do not assign it to an item because of message order alone. Keep the original reply and its date unedited.

Rebuild the question context

List the active item labels, URLs and exact questions that preceded the response. The single-versus-multi-seller comparison explains why source groups matter when several sellers appear in one thread. A personal label is useful only if the seller knows which item it represents.

Reply with a compact clarification: quote the seller's message, name the album and selected photo or code, then ask whether the answer applies to that exact item and variant. If the seller replies with a different code, retain both and resolve the relationship.

Only attach a confirmed answer

Use the multi-item reply tracker to mark the original answer ambiguous and the later clarification confirmed. Do not delete the ambiguous message, since it explains why you asked again.

If the source still cannot identify the item, the purchase line remains pending. The album-only agent request is a separate routing problem; neither an unclear seller reply nor a missing listing should be filled in by a guessed item code.
