How to Update a Yupoo Buying Request Without Losing the Choice

Update a Yupoo enquiry with an explicit change record, retain the original selection and ask the recipient to confirm which version is active before proceeding.

Identify the version you want to change

A later message saying “use this instead” can be unclear when several items or photos are involved. This workflow records a requested change; it does not establish that an agent or seller can change, cancel or replace an order.

Locate the personal item label, album reference and any service item reference already supplied. State whether you are changing an unanswered enquiry or asking about an accepted item. Confirm with the responsible party whether the requested change is still possible before assuming it takes effect.

Write the old and proposed choices together

  • Item reference: the specific line or accepted record.
  • Previous choice: the colour, size, quantity or source you submitted.
  • Proposed change: the exact replacement field or value.
  • Unchanged fields: the details that should remain as previously requested.
  • Confirmation needed: whether the recipient can apply the change.

Keep the original message or brief. Do not silently overwrite it in a way that makes the conversation appear to contain only the new choice.

Resolve source changes explicitly

If the album or seller listing changes, record both destinations and ask whether the replacement identifies the same intended item. Use the two-album comparison worksheet when the references differ. A similar image does not by itself resolve that question.

Wait for a matching confirmation

Acknowledge an answer only against the stated item and proposed fields. If the recipient confirms only part of the change, leave the remaining part pending. Do not infer a cancellation, refund or changed purchase from a general reply.

For several items, use the labels described in the multiple-link request guide so one item's revision is not applied to another.

Preserve the active version for later checks

Once confirmed, identify the active selection clearly and retain the superseded version as history. Match receiving photographs and any parcel instructions to the approved record. For the initial brief, use the manual request guide. Ask the handling service about any downstream change; this recordkeeping tutorial creates no promise that an amendment can be made.
