How to Distinguish Similar Yupoo Items in QC Photos

Match closely related Yupoo selections to their own approved records before comparing receiving photos, avoiding a cross-item variant or seller mix-up.

Set up the comparison before opening the photos

This guide resolves cross-item identity before condition review when two purchases look similar; it is not a general QC photo inspection checklist.

Two accepted items can have nearly identical covers but different sizes, colours or seller references. A QC image without an item identifier should not be assigned by appearance alone. This troubleshooting guide focuses on cross-item identity, not general product quality.

Make a short map of each approved item reference, its seller and album, and the distinguishing option label. If the handling service provides receiving IDs, add them beside the matching approved records. Leave an unmatched ID unassigned until clarified.

Look for discriminating evidence

  • An explicit size or colour label visible in the received view.
  • The item code or selected component confirmed before purchase.
  • The receiving reference tied to a particular purchase line.
  • A written reply that names which accepted item a photo covers.

Do not infer identity from order of upload, background, package position or a generic product category. The bag QC checklist gives an example of a category-specific visible question when two styles are close.

Ask for an item-level correction

If a photo cannot be matched, ask which receiving reference and approved variant it depicts. Keep the question open until the response identifies the item specifically. The multi-item QC issue log prevents one item's open question from being treated as another item's passed check.

Review condition only after identity

Once the photographs are linked to the right item, compare observable details with the approved selection. Use the existing QC photo review guide for focused difference reporting. Confirm any available inspection or forwarding step directly with the handling service; this guide does not supply platform policies or remedies.
